Welcome! I'm setting up a new blog for my artwork and today is the day it begins. I started working with acrylics almost 25 years ago, but then kids happened, and my painting time was replaced by raising kids. Being dad to my two girls was more important than playing with acrylics. Christmas of 2016, my wife bought me a set of oils and told me that I needed to get back into painting. I confess that they sat in my closet for nearly a year because I was "just too busy." Then in December of 2017 I pulled them out of the closet, dusted them off, bought a couple canvases, and said, "What the heck, let's see what happens." It turns out that I enjoy working with oils in the wet on wet method more than I ever did acrylics. I'm still a new artist in this method, so some of my pieces are better than others.
